Faith Stories™

An ALOA-generated intergenerational project has extended over several years and grown into a long-term partnership with Prince of Peace in Carrollton, Texas.

High school faculty member Nick Weiss and his video class students have video taped older adults telling their Faith Story.

As in any effective intergenerational effort, both younger and older participants have been impacted by this on-going project. Video taping Faith Stories has been a natural way to engage tech-savvy teens with older adults.  However, Faith Stories is an initiative that could be sponsored by any congregational group or ministry, as well as a school. 

ALOA has numerous practical tools to help in the "How To" guide on our Faith Stories page. The information can be adapted to any format.  People of all ages can be encouraged to record and then share their journey with Jesus.
